A Healthy Mindset

A healthy mindset is something hard to come by. I know it was for me. And I know it is sometimes a hard thing to maintain.

Ladies, I know the struggle. If you’re short or tall, skinny or curvy, apple or hourglass, we always find problems with our image. Rarely is someone completely okay with how their body looks.

I’m not scared to admit I have a lot of problems with my mindset. And I’m willing to say my mindset isn’t as “healthy” as I wish it could be. There are still times I hurt my body trying to change it, but I am slowly excepting that my body is perfect how it is.

My body is how God created it to be, but it is up to me to keep it healthy and fit. Meaning I need to find balance. There is a fine line between loving your body and taking care of it, and trying to take care of it but hating your body. We should always keep in mind that we are created by a heavenly Father who loves us, who created us in His image, and who looks upon the heart not the worldly body.

I am still going to eat healthy and workout almost every day (if not a few times a day ;)), but with God’s help, I am going to keep a healthy mindset through it all, and keep telling myself no matter what happens, Christ loves me.

Please remember, no matter how you look, not matter how much you weigh, or if you’re curvy or flat, your body is a temple for the Holly Spirit, and you should treat it as such.

“1Or do you not know that your body is atemple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
