Hey y’all, this post oughta be fun 😉
These are my favorite movies as of 2022. They could be movies that I’ve watched since I was much younger, or movies I have discovered recently. I’ll do my best to describe how much I love each movie without giving any spoilers! Either way, I’d love to know your opinions in the comments!
(P.S. they are in no particular order, but you should be able to tell from my commentary just how much I love all of them)
Pride and Prejudice (2005)
Rating: PG
My Rating: 10,000/10
Okay, this movie is first for a reason. My brain cannot put into words just how much I love this movie! The artistry of the way it was filmed, the actors portrayals of the characters. Everything about is screams perfection and the true definition of romance. I believe this make is the closest anyone will ever come to portraying the original characters correctly. This is my comfort movie, and I cannot count how many times I have watched it!
Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)
Rating: PG-13
My Rating: 8.5-10
I had the ability to watch this in theaters, and I was very disappointed…with the reviews! I went into the movie with low expectations after reading some very poor reviews, and I was nicely surprised! I won’t go to discount how amazing the original Jurassic Park is, but Dominion was probably one of my favorites from the six. Honestly, other than some woke things that were needlessly thrown in, the movie was pretty awesome!
Pirates of the Caribbean (2003)
Rating: PG-13
My Rating: 10/10
This movie is just the FIRST of an amazing series! These movies aren’t what I would call a ‘comfort movie’, they’re are little too violent for that lol, but they are amazing altogether. Kick-butt pirates, a sassy Jack Sparrow, gorgeous cinematography, and awesome storytelling. To say I can repeat most, if not all, of the actors lines is not an understatement
Tangled (2010)
Rating: PG
My Rating: 9/10
Arguably one of the only Disney Princess movies that I will willingly sit down and enjoy. Flinn Rider is adorable, Rapunzel is awesome, and all the characters grow in one way or another. This movie is super sweet, has awesome characters, and the plot line ACTUALLY has some meaning and sense behind it. Definitely a favorite!
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2022)
Rating: PG-13
My Rating: 11/10
My brothers and I were given the ability to watch this as soon as it came out, and it immediately became my favorite Marvel movie. Nothing woke to be found, sweet, emotional, well made, just simply amazing! I must say, I was in a depressive state for at least two weeks following it, in which I literally did not watch another movie I was so upset. But I’m fine now, and can truly appreciate the amazing make and emotional breakthrough this movie provides.
Sing 2 (2022)
Rating: PG
My Rating: 8/10
This movie was so cuteeee… But also a typical, cheesy, children’s movie. It was adorable, I loved all the popular musical references, and honestly the ending did give me chills… Either way, Buster Moon was funny as ever, all the characters had grown and continued to grow, the soundtrack was AWESOME, and Sing’s animation style is honestly one of my favorites!
Black Widow (2021)
Rating: PG-13
My Rating: 10/10
I loved this movie, and it broke my heart. It was produced beautifully, the plot was expertly planned out, and the characters were amazing as ever. It does hurt me that we got to see all the sisterly growth then had to survive that ending, but it was worth it to see Natasha’s beginnings.
Rise of the Guardians (2012)
Rating: PG
My Rating: 9/10
I don’t know if many would classify this as a Christmas Movie, but I LOVE it either way! Surprisingly kinda spooky the first time watching, but honestly it has SUCH a great storyline and character growth. It’s quite adorable to see all the different representations of childhood fairytales.

EEEEE! I loved this post Hannah! I’m just beginning my Marvel journey so I haven’t seen any of the movies you mentioned yet. BUT YESSSSS to Sing 2 AND The Rise of the Guardians!!!!! I don’t know many people who have seen that movie, nonetheless rate it as one of their favorites!
EPPPPP! I love it when people have watched the same movies!!! Yessss Rise of the Guardians does NOT get the attention it deserves!! And the Marvel journey is awesomeeee 😂😁
